Nature was trying to make things difficult for us that day. Swan River just burst its banks. In the middle of the summer - I'm a new Australian but even I know it just doesn't happen. Things were closed and walking was required.

Clare is a photographer by the way and a very good one. I always feel honoured when a fellow photographer picks me to photograph his/hers wedding. I don't really change anything but it feels a little different when I shoot a shooter :)  In the end, things went the way we all wanted. I was photographing moments and emotions, not "people". I think Clare and Stew walked away from the experience a little more in love.
