Sometimes I feel like I captured "The Perfect Wedding". The venue is beautiful, couple madly in love and not shy about showing it, every part of the wedding day has got stand-out wedding photos.
Read MoreJo and Ryan combined quirk and tradition together. We actually spent some time together before the ceremony. Ryan got a first look of Jo away from everyone, in a private. I love photographing The First Look as it's called in the biz of wedding photography. Away from a prying eye emotions often fly high.
The balcony was a last moment find but (it's Westin btw) what a cool find it was. Where else can you dance with this view literally at your feet :)
Read MoreChloe and Max picked Mandoon Estate as their wedding venue but COMO the Treasury features here prominently as well.
The wedding was a great combination of modern and traditional; quiet romance and pure fun; shadows and light.
I really like photographing at COMO as place offers unique architecture and light/shadows. The place is quiet, elegant and soft and so are the photos we captured after the First Look. Some happy tears were shed.
Mandoon Estate is all about being close to the nature. Ceremony right by the river; among the trees. Massive windows make you feel like the reception is happening in the middle of the bush.
Read MoreI might be a bit biased but I honestly think Fremantle is one of the best places to get married. It's the mix of history, architecture and nature. As a wedding photographer I want my images to tell a story. A story of the place, story of the couple and their friends. I want to capture all the little things that make them special and make their wedding day unique. Fremantle has a great mix of locations which always allows me to make something different and push me creatively.
Read MoreThere are places you like the moment you see them. I love venues that are a little different, not too big and not too small. Venues with lots of light and places which I can use creatively. And Upper Reach Winery was just like that. I don't know how Krystle and Scott found it but I'm happy they did. It's a part of Swan Valley which still has a very homely feel to it.
Read MoreI don't blog any weddings for a month or so and than I blog two weddings in the space of a few days :) That's the way it is sometimes. Katie and Bob flew all the way from rainy UK for their big day. And it rained on their wedding day. But only a bit, and by that point no one cared :)
Read MoreSwan Valley is one my favourite places in WA. I really like the relaxed atmosphere matching the slow run of Swan River and the multicultural background. So I was obviously excited for Courtney and Cal's wedding at Sandalford Wines. They booked me without a meeting me in person first which is always a good sign. They really loved my portfolio and there isn't a photographer doesn't like hearing that ;)
Read MoreI knew I'll have great wedding photos because their couple session was amazing. I am not disappointed. We chased light, played with shadows and climbed things :) There's many more images I'd like to put in here but I can't. The post would be just too big. Look me up on Instagram, I'll be posting there.
Read MoreI'm really excited to to blog this wedding. A few things came together to create this super cool mix of photos. Sarah and Rich just being themselves, dramatic skies over Jarrahdale, beautiful light and stunning grounds of Millbrook Winery.
Read MoreThey have met only a few months ago. And these few months was clearly enough. I guess sometimes you just know. Which is a little funny as we've met only 3 days before the wedding. They make decisions fast :)

Read MoreSK and Eric wanted simple yet memorable wedding and they wanted to have fun exploring Perth. And awesome wedding photos to prove it of course. I seldom have so much time with the couples on the wedding day. The plan was to start at Sittella Winery and make our way down to Fremantle stopping along the way. Timing and travel was important as well as finding places with best light. It took me two days to scout the spots I wanted to include and make sure we get to Fremantle for the sunset.
Read MoreThe images below tell Clare and Stew's weddingstory. A visual narrative of the short, special moments that made this day what it was. And there was a lot of them.
Stew and Clare seem to have one of those rare bonds. It was clear from the way they were dancing and having fun together. Everyone needs someone they can be silly with from time to time. I really enjoyed watching them busting moves together during the reception.
Read MoreWhen two adventurous and strong willed people get married, they do things their own way. The wedding venue is the cool and quirky Moore and Moore in Fremantle. The ceremony happens inside and they decide to do "First Look" just before. It's usually very charged and short but this was not the case with Claire and Aidan.
Read MoreCaroline and Tris at Lamont's Bishops House. Definitely one of my favourite venues in Perth. There's something about the contrast of old and new in this part of Perth. Plus the food is awesome.
Read MoreThe one thing about getting married at a wedding venue is you have to finish quite early. 11 pm seems to be standard. This is why I like backyards weddings so much. You can party all you want, however long you want.
Read MoreImagine complete freedom when you plan your wedding. What would you do?
I know what I would. I'd surround myself with the all the important things in my life for one day. Go overboard a little and have as much fun as possible doing it.
What if my partner wanted the exactly same things as well? No need to compromise, ideas elevate themselves to the next level on it's own :)
Read MoreAll the important people together. Enjoying the occasion, each-other's company and the warm sunny day. Sharing stories, food and wine. With James and Jenna.
Read MoreMost of the weddings I photograph take place South of the River. A wedding on the other side is always an exciting event for me. New places mean new images :) Ella and Glenn's wedding at AQWA was exciting indeed. This was my first AQWA wedding and the place didn't disappoint.
Read MoreOne day Josh surprised Clare with an engagement ring in the middle of a photo shoot. I knew what was coming as Josh called me the day before to give me heads up. A year later or so later I had a pleasure to photograph their wedding in Cottesloe at the Civic Centre. Their wedding venue of choice was Blue Duck. Located just on the beach 10 minutes away from the gardens of Civic Centre.
