Madusha and Meheransh / Indian Wedding in Perth, Swan Valley.

Madusha and Meheransh combined Indian, Sri Lankan and Australian traditions to create a visual feast that was their wedding. Just look at the colours and highly details outfits. All underscored by beautiful weather, light and locations. I love shooting around the sunset and in places where I can the golden light creatively. Sometimes shadows and dark areas are as important as the light. Scouting locations and experience always help :) I’ve photographed many, many times in Swan Valley and at Sandalford Wines.

Anyone who ever got married will tell you how quickly a wedding day goes by. Every minute really counts to me so I always know exactly where I’d like to go and what time the sunset is. As a wedding photographer sometimes I have to let things go and roll with the punches. However, a realistic plan always helps. Madusha and Meheransh envisioned emotive and intimate wedding portraits full of rich colours. I seldom have more than 1.5 h for this part of the wedding day but I did this time and… magic happened :)
